The Gentle class is a slow flow with plenty of instruction. Sequences are created from Yin yoga and Therapeutic yoga. Classes include alignment, stretching and strengthening, breath, balance and relaxation. Modifications are given as needed.
Gentle plus is generally a continuation of the Thursday class. There is less instruction and the pace moves along. A moderate Vinyasa flow is sometimes included based on the primary and second series of Ashtanga.
For all classes, I recommend a yoga mat, yoga blocks, and a blanket. It can be beneficial to have an extra mat, folded towels, or folded blankets; thick books if yoga blocks are not available; a yoga strap or long belt; and bolsters or firm pillows. Easy access to a wall or sturdy furniture will also help with some poses.
I invite you to breathe and stay present. Please remember that this is your practice, and you decide how far to go into a pose. Allow comfort to be your guide, and enjoy this journey of self-discovery.
One week of Zoom classes is free to new students.
Zoom drop in rate is $18
Unlimited yoga classes are $70 -110/month. Please pay what you can. No one will be turned away from class.
4 week Foundations series is $65.
Private lessons are $60 for 45 minutes. New and returning yogis are encouraged to take 2-4 private lessons. Also, those interested in deepening their practice would benefit with private sessions.

This series is for the beginner through intermediate practitioner. The foundations of posture, poses and breathing techniques will be the main focus. Each class will include focused breathing, alignment awareness, strength drills, a short flow, meditation and a long cool down.
